Trips

 

On bikes, boats and boots, trained Covenant Point staff lead campers into remote places in creation to remove the complex parts of daily life and focus solely on God. Wilderness trips take place in canoes, on the trail and on bicycles and are available to campers entering 6th-12th grades. Camp types, dates, grades and prices are listed below.

Trips

8th & 9th CANOE TRIP

PT18

A five-day journey on a local river or chain of lakes, such as the Flambeau River or Sylvania National Wilderness. Bring a lot of energy for paddling, portaging, camping and laughs!
8th/9th grade Canoe Trip -- June 20-26 (Cost: $295.00)

6th & 7th INTRO TO CANOEING

PT26

Learn canoeing and outdoor living skills on and around lakes and/or rivers near camp, as well as develop an appreciation for nature. Several nights will be spent camping away from Covenant Point.
6th/7th grade Canoe Trip -- June 27-July 3 (Cost: $295.00)

8/9/10th BACKPACKING

PT38

An adventure backpacking through one of the many pristine wildernesses of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, such as Pictured Rocks or the Porcupine Mountains.
8/9/10th grade Backpacking Trip -- July 4-10 (Cost: $295.00)

8/9th BIKE TRIP

PT58

Ride 200-250 miles of scenic forest highways and backroads in the Upper Peninsula or Northern Wisconsin. We stay at campgrounds along the way.
8th/9th grade Bike Trip -- July 18-24 (Cost: $310.00)

SR. HIGH BACKPACKING

PT61

A road trip to Wyoming for intense backpacking in the Big Horn Mountains. Only for the strong of leg and adventurous of heart, this trip winds through the beautiful lakes and towering peaks of the Cloud Peak Wilderness Area.
10/11/12th grade Backpacking Trip -- July 25-August 7 (Cost: $600.00)
