Winter Recreational Options at Covenant Point

Cross Country Skiing - The camp maintains a 18km groomed cross country ski trail system. Fischer non-wax skis are provided for user groups.

Snowshoeing - Camp has a limited supply of snowshoes for weekend rental. There are thousands of acres to shoe across as camp property is adjacent to Ottawa National Forest.

Ice Skating and Broomball Rink - An ice rink is maintained for user groups, and broomball equipment is available for up to 30 people. No ice skates are available at camp.

 

Indoor Climbing Wall - A 34 foot climbing wall is part of Cedar Lodge, offering groups a unique challenge. Cost for usage can be on a per person or per hour basis. Climbing wall operation hours are between 10am and 3pm. Ten person minimum required for use.

 

 

Sauna - Used year round, with seating up to 15. Very popular during winter retreats at night just before a quick dip into the lake through a hole in the ice.

 

Ski Brule Downhill Ski Resort - Just a ten minute drive from Covenant Point. Tickets available at a discount group rate for Covenant Point user groups.
