Looking for a youth camp full
of laughter, good food, new friends and new twists on what being
a Christian is all about? Mainland camps run during June, July
and August and are available to students entering grades 2-12.

What happens on the Mainland?
Mainland activities include big games, an expansive waterfront
(complete with speed boats, tubing, skiing, three swimming areas,
floating raft and diving board), nature center, arts and crafts
building, canteen and game room, but even more importantly, singing
and chapel times in the Tabernacle. Each week of camp we invite
an age-appropriate guest speaker to come and talk to the campers
about their faith. Singing is led by the summer worship director
and is always a crazy and moving experience. Covenant Point campers
love to sing (and yell)!!

Each mainland program is unique to the
age of camper that comes. Our youngest camps, Hagerman Pathfinders
(for students entering grades 2/3/4) offer both partial-week
and full-week sessions. Small cabin groups, dedicated counselors
and plenty of activity kick-start our youngest campers with a dose
of Bible stories and model staff. |

|
| Hagerman Explorers (for students entering grades
4/5/6), gives the campers a chance to hang out with the people
they love the most while at camp--the staff. Crazy singing times
and pumped up creative games and skits catch the campers' attention
so the staff can start to talk to them about what really matters--that
God loves them. Hagerman Explorers spend time each day in arts and
crafts, on the waterfront, out in nature and learning about God
through the people around them. |

Hagerman Wilderness Adventure (for students entering
grades 4/5/6) is a special week of camp that caters to the "elementary
nature lover". Activities near the water, under the forest
canopy and out in the fields wake the best parts of child-like faith.
Off-site excursions, hard-core exploration, ropes course activities
and overnight camping/canoe trip make this mainland camp totally
unique and full of natural awareness. |
| |
|
| Mainland Voyage (for students entering grades 5/6/7)
is the camp for the child who likes choices. Rather than assign
indoor and outdoor activities to the cabin groups, we give a whole
buch of options and let the campers design their own camp excitement
for the week. The speaker for this week knows just how to relate
to youth of this age, and does it in a fun, lighthearted but honest
way. |

Mainland Expedition (for students entering grades
6/7/8/9) is the camp that best combines the excitement of camp
games and skits with the true quest for intensive spiritual growth.
This week of camp presents a staff ready to not only have a lot
of laughs with the campers, but to help campers search for answers
to tough questions on faith and Christianity. Extended times for
worship, outdoor adventures, faith seminars and skill workshops
are only a few reasons to choose this week of camp. The real reason
is...well, Jr. High camps are silly and spontaneous and the staff
LOVES them! |
|
Mainland Journey (for students entering grades 10/11/12) is
the apex camp of Covenant Point. This week focuses on giving campers
a chance to experience something they just can't do at home. Whether
campers are involved in excursions, "faith in action"
workshops, seminars, Braveheart or beach parties, Sr. High campers
find God alive and working all around them. Speakers and worship
for Sr. High are especially dynamic and filling, while the spiritual
nurturing of the staff is personal to each camper. We love to
hang out as God's people and fellowship--and we know that Sr.
High campers do too!!
Family Camp (for all ages) offers families all the aspects
of a great vacation combined with the fullness of living in an
inter-generational Christian community for a week. Excursions,
daily Bible studies, skill and adventure times for the children
mixed with all the greatest features of Covenant Point's facility
make this week of family vacation one of the best.

camp codes and costs, see our Summer Schedule.
